Coming down Hobbs Rd. in League City
It rained all day in New York City -- no batting practice in the Bronx, but I still snagged a couple of commemorative postseason baseballs before the game. That was just the beginning of a *very* fun and exciting night at Yankee Stadium. BTW, in case you've forgotten, the Yankees entered this day trailing 2-1 in the series, so they HAD to win in order to force a decisive Game 5 back in Cleveland. Naturally things got crazy, and I did my best to document it. This game took place on October 9, 2017. Special thanks to the person who did all the editing: me!! And yes, as always, thank YOU for watching. I really do appreciate it.
Video uploaded at 10pm CET, very warm outside (90F) but pretty light winds. Evacuating/driving tomorrow morning somewhere to League City, 30 miles north of Galveston and stay there until the entire storm is over. Flooding is another story. Back in Galveston hopefully in a week, exploring the same roads AFTER Harvey is already history. Keep everybody down here in your prayers, let's hope and pray no loss of life of any kind. Be safe everybody. GOD BLESS.
This clip is from recent harvey effect area of clearbrook crossing near Peraland.
The balloon was launched at Zube Park in Houston, and landed in Buna, TX. We are a Engineering Design and Development class at Clear Creek High School (League City, TX), and launched this balloon to conduct school experiments. I had placed my GoPro camera on the balloon rig to film the experiments, and I later edited the footage. Much thanks to High Altitude Science, a company that provided the balloon rig, balloon, and invaluable expertise, for helping our class conduct these experiments. High Altitude Science: http://highaltitudescience.com/ The Balloon reached just above 105,000 ft.
Star Toyota League City. I took my car in because the clear bra on my car is turning yellow. I was told to bring it in so they could look at the bra and determine what pieces have yellowed so they could order the correct parts. I brought in the vehicle and this is what happened. After I reviewed the footage and filed a complaint I was told I would be refunded the total cost of the clear bra. Even though I received a refund on the clear bra they still had nothing to say about the fact that no one even stepped in front of the vehicle to see what the bra looked like. When I was leaving the dealership I was told to contact the company who installed the clear bra. This has to be the worst customer service I've ever received.
LEAGUE CITY -- Hundreds of people gathered at Ross Elementary School in #LeagueCityTX Sunday (4-9-2017) night to remember one of the school's students who was killed in a car crash on Thursday. Kelsey Nalepa was seriously injured in the accident and never recovered from those injuries. Her parents made the heart-wrenching decision to take her off life support and donate her organs so that others may have a chance to live. Kelsey's father Marcus surprised many and showed up to the vigil and spoke to those in the crowd. Marcus is a teacher at Clear Creek ISD Hyde Elementary while his wife Nicole is a teacher at Ross Elementary. In his first public statement since the accident, Marcus Nalepa thanked all in the community who have shown support. And he shared stories of his daughter's life. Oth...
